About the Founder
Drew's Story
From the time she was just three years old, Drew showed signs of a creative spark and an instinctive passion for hair. She vividly remembers pretending to be a hairdresser while cutting her brother’s hair - yes, you may laugh! By age eight, her mother taught her how to braid using a Barbie doll, and her natural flair for hairstyling became evident to everyone around her. Her family often said she was “born with a brush in her hand.”
After high school, Drew initially pursued a corporate path, completing a course in administration followed by a Diploma in Business Management. She climbed the corporate ladder for over a decade but never let go of her dream. At 25, while still working in the corporate world, she enrolled at a private hairdressing college in Broadway, Sydney, and completed her Certificate in Hairdressing. It was during this time she discovered her true calling - Hairstyling.
With no YouTube or Instagram tutorials at the time, Drew sought hands-on training from leading hairstylists across Sydney and even travelled interstate to learn more. Her passion and drive were unstoppable, even when life threw her a major challenge. During her early years of training, Drew was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Rather than retreat, she channelled her strength into her education and even opened her own salon while undergoing treatment.
She went on to build a reputation for her artistry and dedication, always expanding her skills and staying ahead of industry trends. As she often says: "Education and training are everything - you can never have too much of it."
Incredibly, Drew beat stage 3 breast cancer again in 2025—a testament to her resilience and spirit. Her journey is one of passion, perseverance, and purpose.
